The 813402 Awning Bracket, designed by ARB, is engineered to provide exceptional strength and durability when mounting awnings to roof bars on vehicles used under extreme conditions or off-road. Crafted with welded gussets, this bracket is zinc plated and powder coated for superior corrosion resistance, ensuring it can withstand the harshest of environments.

Versatile in its design, the 50 mm wide awning bracket is compatible with both Thule SquareBar and Rhino Heavy Duty bars, allowing for installation in either the upright or inverted position. For Thule ProfessionalBar, WingBar, and AeroBar, as well as Rhino Heavy Duty bars, the bracket can be mounted using T-bolts or channel nuts.

Pre-drilled to accommodate 8 mm bolts, the bracket is recommended to be secured with a minimum of 2, but preferably 3 bolts, for maximum strength. The outer bolt hole between the gussets must always be used to ensure the gusset's effectiveness. Additionally, the bracket features three slotted 6 mm holes for attaching the awning.

It's important to note that the awning bracket is sold separately from the hardware, as the specific requirements may vary depending on the roof bar design. The manufacturer recommends using the T-bolts and channel nuts provided by the roof bar manufacturer for a secure and compatible installation.

Recently, the 813402 Awning Bracket has been upgraded from a 3 mm to a 4 mm construction, however, it is still considered a lighter duty option, primarily designed for highway use rather than off-road applications.

ARB suggests using 2 to 3 brackets to ensure the secure attachment of the awning to the roof rack, with larger awnings (1250 mm, 2000 mm, and 2500 mm) benefiting from the added stability of 3 brackets.
